The Black Bloc, the moniker given to modern-day anarchists, kinda reminds me of the Black Hand, a similarly nebulous group behind the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which set off the chain reaction of events leading up to the outbreak of World War I. The name comes from a protest tactic. I only bring this up because the man who shot up the movie theater in Colorado, Mr. Holmes, has been labeled, perhaps falsely, as a member of the Black Bloc.
