The sequester, modest across-the-board cuts to federal government spending, is looming large on the horizon, and I couldn’t be happier. I just hope it happens. We must get the federal budget under control. Sadly, the money saved ain’t much. The spending orgy continues, climbing by $2.4 trillion during the next decade rather than the $2.5 trillion Obama wants. Much deeper cuts are needed.
