I’ve been reading the Sunday papers and on the front page of The Gainesville Sun was part of a series on how divided America is and why.
Reading a very negative quote, on the day before the Fourth of July, by a naive, relatively young woman named Kayla Coleman got me a bit riled up.
She was asked if America is great. Is America a great country?
“I don’t think it’s great at all. There’s a lot of disturbance and distress with the American people.”
Are people starving? Are armies bombing your neighborhood?
My bet is that Kayla has plenty to eat, a nice place to live, and a decent salary.
But, no, America is still hell on earth.
