Journalists shouldn’t be neutral, says Jorge Ramos of Univision.

Jorge Ramos claims to be a journalist. He is a well-connected, well-paid activist.

Most of us with brains already know that journalists are often anything but objective.

One such activist masquerading as a reporter is Jorge Ramos of Univision.

In an interview in Esquire, he argues that journalists shouldn’t be neutral in their reporting, using a quote from Holocaust survivor and Nazi hunter Elie Wiesel in an attempt to buttress his claim.

“Elie Wiesel says that neutrality only helps the oppressor, never the victim. And I think you can apply that to journalism.”

And he admits to planning a confrontation with Donald Trump in Iowa last year. The Univision cameras were placed to get the best coverage, and Jorge was mic’ed up so everyone could hear his pointed questions, or what really is best described as commentary.

Well, Mr. Ramos, that’s not journalism. It’s activism.
