In 1938, in Munich, Germany, the prime minister of Britain, Chamberlain, made a deal with Hitler in the hopes of keeping the peace. He returned to England infamously waving the agreement in his hand. Of course, it was a deception. Hitler had no intentions of following through.
People have been making parallels with the Munich Agreement ever since. The latest is by the Israeli Ministry of Defense. And I, along with many others, agree. Placating the radical Islamist, terrorist sponsoring government of Iran is a most dangerous and deadly game.
