Family is important to me. One way this manifests itself is my obsession with knowledge. Hence, my constant work on the family tree.

Yet, throughout my life, I’ve often felt like an outcast. Despite growing up with a mother and father, there were periods where I felt like an orphan. I was so isolated at times. Most of the time, there was no one to confide in, no one to talk to.

I’ve thought about writing a book. I’ve thought about calling it Orphan or Outcast.

    1. I assume you mean, “Why not write the book?” Well, if it was that easy, I’d be a prolific author. But, sadly, book writing is difficult, at least for me. But I do need to hunker down and crank one out.

  1. I can relate to feeling like an orphan when I was younger and wondered if I was adopted. It wasn’t until I got older and got to know the good LORD and HIS love over time for healing to occur and to be filled with HIS unconditional love.
JESUS said, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:18
I think it is cool you are finding out about your family tree.
