The Morrison Electric

In Chicago, back in 1893, while my great-great grandfather studied dentistry and his daughter, my great grandmother, was just a toddler, a fellow Iowan from Scotland, a chemist named
William Morrison
, was preparing an invention. It was an electric buggy and presented with much fanfare at the World’s Columbian Exposition. Ultimately, however, though the Morrison Electric had promise, Henry Ford won out.
