It has begun! A fella has a nice setup outside of the community center in Ballard, a neighborhood in Seattle. We are mid-eclipse right now!
Tried my own device, but need some sort of projecting device. People are walking around with cereal boxes and those hard-to-come-by special eclipse glasses.
The sun is still so strong that it’s hard to see it with the naked eye, which, yes, I know, you’re not supposed to do. But I’m not blind yet. I only did it briefly for a second. It appears to most dangerous at the apex.
