I came upon a Bible, the New Revised Standard Version, at a Little Free Library in the neighborhood. I’ve been flipping through its pages.
It made its way to Seattle from Wisconsin. Previously owned by Carolyn M. Wilson of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.
It includes all sorts of nuggets not standard in many evangelical Protestant circles, such as the Prayer of Azariah and the Song of the Three Jews. More on these later.
