An alley in New York City reminds me of the Ripper & Whitechapel in London


A group of men loitering in an alley off of Mulberry Street known as Bandit’s Roost in New York City in 1887, the year my great grandparents arrived in America, disembarking into the bustling city before making their way to the wind swept prairies of northeastern South Dakota.
