Last Night, A Bizarre Dream — Starring Me, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler

I’m not so sure they’d find it that amusing.

I’ve been having some strange dreams lately. The latest was downright bizarre and featured Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, co-starring me.

This has led me to explore songs about dreaming. The stories behind the songs are often fascinating.

David Bowie wrote Five Years following a dream he had in 1971. His deceased father appears, telling Bowie that he had only five years left to live and that he must never fly again.

Maybe I’ll write a song about my dream, five years from now, maybe.
