It is obvious that the FBI and other federal agencies are out of control. People need to be fired, investigated, and charged with crimes. Budgets need to be threatened. Start with Wray, the FBI director. Demand that Biden fire him.

Fairy godmother?
I am watching The Usual Suspects on YouTube. This silly TV version has dubbed out the swearing.
One of the classic, idiotic dubs is “fairy godmother.” Fairy godmother? Fairy godmother?! I am pretty sure the fairy replaces the F word. I am not sure about the godmother part. I do not know the movie that well, line-for-line. Co—ucker?
This reminds me of the edits in Die Hard. One is “Mr. Falcon,” which came up on a Conan episode, part of quite a funny segment.
By the way, I was recently banned from Twitter for describing someone, a politician, with the word whore. One of the hall monitors at Twitter HQ did not like that and promptly banished me from the kingdom.

Democrats in Congress only want certain “news” outlets to operate. Congressional Democrats sent a letter to Comcast, Amazon, Google, AT&T, and other companies, demanding to know how each will deal with “the spread of dangerous misinformation” from Fox News, OAN, and Newsmax, including whether or not the corporations will continue to allow the content on their services.

This ongoing idiocy
WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT
MORONS TEACHING MORONS
IDIOTS LEADING IDIOTS
Murals at the University of Rhode Island depicting servicemen returning home from World War II are being removed because some complained about a lack of diversity in the art.
The anonymous whiners were offended. To be offended by such innocuous art is truly moronic. Busybody prudes with too much free time.
“It really depicts a snapshot in time of the university’s history, important history, showing a person returning back to campus from World War II and other historical moments.”
“Well, it depicted that era,” says the artist, Art Sherman, who is 95. His daughter says that the family does not agree with the decision.
I see it as a draconian from of censorship. It is disgusting. Universities should be places of freedom — freedom of artistic expression, freedom of speech, freedom of thought.

Adele has been banned from using Twitter, though not by the corporate overlords.
“To end things on a light note, Adele was banned from Twitter by her own management team, after she kept drunk tweeting.”
I just had to document this. It made me smile. Highly amusing.

Libraries & Censorship
It’s rather ironic and quite hypocritical for the Oregon State Library to subscribe to a newsletter on censorship. It’s the newsletter of the National Coalition Against Censorship, or NCAC.
I can’t access the group’s Facebook page from the library’s computers, because Facebook is deemed inappropriate. I can’t read the NCAC’s tweets, because Twitter is a no-no. Yet, with my own personal laptop I can use the wireless network provided by the library to do it. Of course, anyone who can’t afford a laptop or similar device is out of luck.
I can’t listen to my music on Grooveshark while I write or research. But Pandora isn’t blocked for some reason. (Don’t tell, or someone will probably pull the plug.) I like listening to something while I am working on my stack of stuff for the day, whether it’s music or radio, usually streaming over the Net.
I suggest the staff of the Oregon State Library actually start reading the newsletter and implementing less restrictive policies. After all, the First Amendment doesn’t stop at the library doors.
Perhaps someone from the NCAC will contact the folks behind these outdated, paternalistic, Big Brother approaches to managing a public entity.
