Why are so many of those in positions of authority such gullible fools? The murders committed by this terrorist is why people should be able to sue government bureaucrats. People must be held personally and criminally responsible for such negligence.

It is no surprise to me, but Turkey has been caught funding ɪꜱʟᴀᴍɪᴄ ꜱᴛᴀᴛᴇ crazies, and ɪɴᴅɪᴀ is rightfully worried.
Turkey’s strongman Erdoğan is an Islamist radical. The ɴᴀᴛᴏ alliance has ignored this for far too long. Turkey needs to be kicked out. I have been advocating that for years, ever since learning about the crazy Erdoğan.
He should be arrested and put on trial, not by the ᴜɴɪᴛᴇᴅ ꜱᴛᴀᴛᴇꜱ, but by the people of Turkey. If this cannot be accomplished, then he should be targeted, like ɪʀᴀɴ’s Soleimani.
Call it assassination. Call it whatever you like. However one may characterize it is irrelevant.
Such men are enemies of humanity. Hiding behind protocol and norms should not exempt these thugs from the consequences of supporting terrorism. Maybe ɪɴᴅɪᴀ or ɪꜱʀᴀᴇʟ will do it.

Referring to the rise of global terrorism, Scorsese says that the Iraq invasion “had created thousands and thousands of Travis Bickles.”
This reference to Bickles is much more interesting to me. But. maddeningly, Scorsese does not make it clear what he means.
Bickles, portrayed by Robert De Niro, is the depressed loner who is the focus of his 1976 film Taxi Driver, which I consider vastly overrated. Bickles is drawn to violence in his disgust against the decadence and sleaze around him.

The Blind Sheikh, whose moniker could have been The Blind Creep, has finally died. Sadly, he wasn’t executed. He died in prison. He was a terrorist leader responsible for the deaths of many. Enjoy your virgins!
Just the other day, I tweeted about how he was the poster child for strict immigration controls. He was issued a tourist visa to the United States despite being on a terror watch list!
